you could convert your regular head lights to the plastic replaceable bulb type, and then smoke the lense. just an idea.

trying to smoke glass doesn't work so good. it no sticky.

Pretty sure for the phantom grills ya gotta recess em by cutting the hole they are in out more and doing something with the mounting brackets, at least that's what I was told I'd have to do with the yota so I'm assuming that's with any phantom grill.

the only thing i would say about the smoking lights is that you cant see shit afterwards, you might can get that headlight kit Ryan is talking about and pull them apart paint the inside black and put'em back together so you wont have to smoke the lens, just suggestion..

heck yeah BR! that'd be awesome! that way you still have clear lenses, but the inside itself is black. that would be pimp! and shouldn't lower your light range much if at all.

i know that fella on here with that white ranger did his that way, ive personally never pulled'em apart before i heard something bout heating them up in the oven or something like that, might want to ask that guy about doing that.. but yea i wouldn't think it would hurt your light range to bad and still have visibility, i know when cisco blacked my lights out i could see SHIT! i had to pull the off, had to give'em up functionality over appearance lol..

There is no need to recess the lights on my truck. The phantom fits over the lights in their stock location.

those would prolly work. that's pretty much what me and Big Ryan were talkin about, but without the projector part. because to me it seems you could still really see the projector lense.

I am not sure if those are made specifically for my truck. It says they wont fit. Just wasnt sure if they would fit in the bezel or if they just dont have a ballast kit designed for my truck.
