Woke up this morning around 7 only to walk into the kitchen and notice water coming in our back door. Looked in the back yard and there was about 1.5ft of water standing around the house.. pulled up carpet in the living room, hall, closet, some of our bedroom and master closet. Thankfully everything else is tile. Thank you to whoever built this house and designed the drainage system in the back yard!!!!!!!!!!!! Hopefully we can put new capret pad down, and stretch the old carpet back for a reasonable price... this isn't helping my truck fund.

You can always claim it on home owner's, and get you some new carpet.

i used to work for my family's carpet place and we used to do water fluid jobs all the time that shit is a pain in the ass, but they where always insurance jobs..

You can claim it on homeowners? I thought you had to have flood insurance?

Yeah BR, already pulled the carpet back in the wet places and pulled the pad out... that in itself was a PITA. Not my kind of work.

Yeah I had a shity day with my ride to work and home. I have no inner fender walls from my tires throwing water all in my engine bay I got water in my air filther and in my intake kept the truck bogging down and from it sitting out side water got in the fuel cell to bogg down the engine even more time ti build them inner fenders and a cover to go over fuel cell

yup I came home to the texture on my ceiling falling into my bath tub yesterday. GREAT!
