I need to bend 1 inch tubing!

harbor freight son..
buy a bender.. cap one end of it off fill it with sand, cap the other end and then bend it.. shouldn't close the tube

yeah I've heard that about the sand and all, but damn that sounds like a lot of work. and what do you can the ends with so it doesn't pop off?

jeff what kind is it? is not the kind with the bottle jack in the center is it? I've got one of those but u can't get it to bend this thin walled stuff. they're made for like black pipe, thick walled shit.

use some metal.. weld flat plat to the ends of it and then cut it off after you get it bent.. sand will help the wall not bend

well sand totally didn't help. I'm still not going to be able to pull a 90 out of it, but oh well I'll just work around that. I'm flexable. and even when I do get a bend, it sure as hell ain't pretty.
