so ive owned 2 450s for roughly 5 years as long as my truck has been bagged. i had to get to new leader hoses cuz i thought mine was clogged. nope not the problem. ever wounder why they heat up so fn fast. well and u might already have figured it out but im tellin again. when u advertise a 1/4 inch leader hose and its choked down inside to 1/8th no wounder we are goin through there compressors. any who i went to bearing service and supply in shreveport saterday had 2 true 1/4 leaders made with 3/8 check valves. i have one on one compressor and the viair brand hose on the other( the check valve on the second hose stripped out my tank port so theres the reason for the other hose not put on yet. i just ran my comps from 80 to 160. the left compressor with the viair hose got so hot i could cook an egg on it by the time it reached 120 with both running. the right which has the new hose on it stayed cold. so wtf viair is this a way of getting us to buy ur product faster. i dont know fill times with the dif hoses i am not braking my system down do to weak compressors to begian with. o and the hoses costed a cool 120 yes its high but the performance of them make up for it.
