my truck has the brushed billet, whats the steps to make them polished?

you can use a high grit sand paper 600 or so to knock the brushed finish off, then you can progressively get higher up to 2000, then finish it off with a high quality metal polish (such as green magic :D ) voila! polished aluminum.
