Instant center comes from have upper and lower arms. however you do it. it's practically impossible to get upper and lower bars perfectly parallel, which means you still HAVE an instant center. it just may be a couple thousand feet in front of the truck (or behind if done wrong). so even with just one upper arm, you still have to set you instant center to in front of the axle some where.
