Well getting the yota on the road is out of my hands, like I've been saying for months now. Not to mention i'm only like 300-500 bucks away from finishing up everything she needs after the motor is in. So doing all this to the yellow truck would only put me behind maybe another 2 months on the yota, at most. Neither one of them will get a dime spent on them until after july anyways.

i dont understand what its not in your hands? its your truck your motor you have to wait on them i understand that but put some money under someone's nose and they start to move a little faster... i wasnt trying to give you a hard time just a thought, i am not saying dont fix the yellow truck because its super straight fix it but dont do all that extra stuff and get that yota going and you wont be 2 months behind.. i am just saying man its a thought and seems like everyone else thinking the same thing.. might be worth weighing that option a little more other than shooting it down that fast..

The reason it's out of my hands is because he quoted me what it would cost if i was just some guy who brought that motor in and had all the work that I've had done to it, 1300 and some change.......i only paid 600 and they're gonna put it back in the truck and get it running for free too. They're just really busy cause he is the only decent shop like that with a true old school mechanic, not just a "parts replacer," in the area.

well now instead of getting him to do it for free pay him lol, and they'll start on yours lol, i know how that free shit works, it gets put off in the back of the shop until they aren't busy and have time to tinker with it, pay him and puts you in line like a paying customer then, speeds the process
