well my truck has been sitting under a tree for about a year now. was working on it last year some but bought a rocket and lost interest in the truck. I got a new welder awhile back and have been wanting to use it some so i decided to redo some stuff on my truck. the plan is to do a wishbone with the bags on the bars. i think i'm going to swap to 8in bags too. Im also going to try and fit my 12 gallon tank under the bed and change to a 6 valve set up. im wanting anyones knowledge on wishbones. anything i might not know.

i'll try to post some pics tonight of the state the truck is in now.

almost finished with the rear on my truck. will try to get pics of it tomorrow on my camera. what are ya'lls thoughts on running a swaybar in the rear. i have a spare swaybar and was thinking about mounting it up while im waiting on my new bags to come in.

if you have the baggs plumbed individually, then you won't need it. if you still have your front one, you're usually pretty much covered, but if you're super concerned about handling go for it. just be sure to use ends that roll or articulate.

the front swaybar is still on, but i have a 4 valve set up right now. was only really thinking about doing it cuz i have some time on my hands waiting on the 8in bags to come in. also if anyone needs them i have drop hangers and lower cotrol arms. i think it is a 3/5 or 4/6 drop or someting. i'll trade someone them for stock arms. looking for a rear bumper too. my rollpan is pretty trashed.

was also wondering if i should be able to lay on 22's without getting into the firewall. my tire wheel combo right now is right at 30in tall and they hit the firewall HARD. might just be because of the lower arms. stock arms might fix the problem i just havent seen one up close to see if they clear.

have a few questions i want to see if anyone can answer. only place in town that has 9/16 bolts is napa and they only have grade 5. will these do for my bar mounts or do i need to run to shreveport and get some higher grade bolts.

second if i were going to run 24s can i mill enough off the back to make them tuck. my bed sides are already flared 2in and i don't plan on doing a body drop.

you can find 24s with the right offset that will tuck. Big Mike has 24s on the back of his truck.

should have the bed back on by sunday if i don't decide to put the tank under it. if i decide to run the tank under the bed i wil be cutting 6in off the end of the frame and mounting the tank to it

well i know a machinest that can machine the back of the wheels down some if needed.

got the frame plated today for the upper bag mounts. forgot my camera so i didnt get pics of it. got to looking around today and my tires right now are 29.74 tall and 24's are only 30.02 so if i can get the rear wheels machined i shouldn't have a problem laying rails with them.

got the upper bag mounts built in crude form. just have to grind where the plate was cut with the torch and fully weld them and they will be pretty much done.

got the rear end together with the 7in bags. decided to rebuild the rear part of my frame and turn it into the air tank. so i will sell my 12 gallon tank if anyone needs it.
