I got this in an email today. This is the number of copies of each magazine sold in 2009.

Truckin’: 106,137 (ABC)
Mini Truckin’: 28,356 (Publisher’s statement)
Street Trucks: 24,393 (Publisher’s statement)

Stop looking at them at walmart and buy them.

I think the internet is what is killing printed media today. Take newspapers for example, they are dying because people get their news from the internet. its a "real-time" news source. This really dont apply to magazines, but its basically the same idea. People see it as why buy the magazine when they can go look at the tech articles, features, videos, and other stuff on the website.

Basically what im saying is that the website has most if not more than what the magazine has, in my opinion. dont get me wrong, it seems like nowadays if you dont have a website, you dont have much of anyting. bless them for the mag, but i believe printed media is on the way out, unfortunately.

I agree. Dan and I talked about that and I think Prime Media is going to do something about that this next year. Getting a subscription to the website, or something.
